Jack Bush (1909-1977). Painting and exhibiting since 1930. In 1957 he began a lifelong friendship with the American art critic Clement Greenberg, his influence brought about the changes that would bring Bush international acclaim with exhibitions in Toronto, Montreal, New York, Boston, San Francisco, London and Zurich. In his retrospective of 1977, Jack Bush did not show any works produced before 1958.
