Biography:
Kazuo Nakamura was born in Vancouver and interned during WW2 in a prisoner of war camp in British Columbia. Moved to Hamilton after the war for a brief period and then to Toronto. Graduated from Central Technical School as a commercial artist in 1951. The Art Gallery of Ontario has the largest holdings of the artist’s works.
